Oct 26, 2018

We’re thrilled to bring you Episode 116 of The BibRave Podcast! We start with a quick recap from Jessica about her 2018 Chicago Marathon experience. Then we get into the meat of our conversation with Matt Kuzma, co-author of Marathon Spectator Guide.  His co-author and wife, Cindy Kuzma, has written numerous pieces for Runner’s World and also interviewed Tim and Jess for the #WeGotGoals Podcast. She’s also run numerous Marathons, which has made Matt - who also has a background in urban planning and operations - a spectating pro!

After hearing Matt’s tales of seeing runners six to SEVEN times during MAJOR Marathons, I knew we had to bring him on the podcast. We talk about how he discovered the “sport” that is Marathon spectating. He shares some key tips & tricks (Yes! There IS an approach to fuel and hydration for the spectators, too!) and also some key things to avoid. If you’re running a large Marathon soon (or have friends that are), you won’t want to miss this episode.

As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! And, if you enjoyed this episode (or any other episode) we would love it if you could leave us a review on iTunes!
