We’re excited to bring you Episode 175 of The BibRave Podcast!

This week’s episode is brought to you by the Carlsbad 5000 - the world’s fastest 5K! The 35th anniversary of this must-run race will take place on March 21st & 22nd, 2020 in Carlsbad Village, California. You won’t want to miss the amazing after-party, watching the elite field, and the incredible finish line feeling! Register today!

This week, Tim and Jess sit down with Runner’s World Runner-in-Chief - Jeff Dengate. Having worked for Runner’s World for many years, Jeff brings a unique perspective on various hot topics in the running industry. First, the trio talks about the controversy surrounding the Nike Next % shoe while also touching on Jeff’s personal experience running a 9-year PR at the Chicago Marathon this year. This leads to an interesting conversation about the role that gear and technology play in competition, as well as a convo about doping. Finally, they wrap up the podcast by chatting about some of their favorite gear and product highlights from The Running Event this year!
