Here at BibRave we love hearing from different voices and perspectives across the running industry, and we have an all new POV to bring to you on the 101th episode of The BibRave Podcast. Ann Wessling, Race Announcer for Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, joins us to dish on what it takes to be the voice behind the start and the finish.

Ann talks to us about how she found herself announcing races, and how her ability to talk to strangers helps her succeed at pumping us up from start to finish on race day. Ann has traveled all across the globe to various Rock ‘n’ Roll races, so she shares some of her favorite parts of some upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series destinations, from Savannah to Seattle, Chicago to Vegas, and everything in between. She then shares a crazy story about a recent cycling accident which ended with her jaw being wired shut (not ideal when your voice is your profession).

Ann always brings tons of energy and stories, so we know you’ll love hearing her on this week’s episode. As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
