Episode 190 of The BibRave Podcast is here and ready for your ears! This week Tim and Jess welcome back Katie Hynes - former podcast guest, nutritionist, and also Olympic Trials qualifier! Katie provides The BibRave Podcast listeners an inside look at her experience at the Trials.

Before we dive into the episode, Tim and Jess also share details about a new BibRave initiative that has gathered over 80 partners across the industry to call on YOU - the runners - to reach out to new runners you know to provide advice, tips, and insight on how to keep running. Countless people are running more than ever due to gym and studio closures, and we want to welcome them with virtual open arms! Learn more about it here and follow #ReleasetheRunner to hear people’s stories!

Now, back into the main interview! This episode features two separate interviews with Katie. The first occurred weeks before the Trials, and we hear about her training, the anticipation, and all the emotions tied up for Katie - an amazingly speedy Marathoner experiencing the Trials from an “everyday runner” perspective. The second takes place two weeks after the Trials to hear all the details of Katie’s experience that weekend as a Brooks “Hometown Hero.” She also shares how her post-Trials two-week trip was affected by the spread of COVID-19 internationally.
