This week on The BibRave Podcast we welcome Kate Van Buskirk from Canadian Running Magazine (as she calls it, the Runner’s World of Canada) and host of The Shakeout Podcast and The Rundown!

Kate is an elite Canadian runner with an interesting perspective on the sport as seen from our neighbors up north. She hosts The Shakeout Podcast, which features more in-depth storytelling and reporting, and co-hosts The Rundown, with Canadian Running staff writer (and Canadian National 800m Champion) Maddy Kelly, recapping the latest from the exciting world of running.

Tim, Jess, and Kate discuss Kate’s time as an elite (having run an indoor mile in 4:26!), Canadian support for elites, her country’s stance as the first to pull out of the 2020 Olympics, autoimmune disorders, her background, and entry into podcasting, and everything in between!
