Ian Sharman, 3-time winner of the Leadville 100, joins the show!
Ian spoke with Tim and Julia from Squaw Valley, where tomorrow he’ll run the Western States 100 - one of the most famous and competitive ultramarathons in the world. The three of them discuss Ian’s approach to training, racing, and coaching - especially for races like Leadville (high!) and Western States (HOT!). Ian also offers Tim some sage advice for what to expect at this year’s race (Tim and Ian are both running!).
And to open the show, Julia shares her race report from Grandma’s Marathon last weekend!
